Philosophy of Education
“It is today that we must create the world of the future”-Eleanor Roosevelt. I think this quote symbolizes how I feel about education. Right now is the time to get the students involved and make them realize how important school is. A teacher is the determining factor for the experience a student will have in their school years. If a student is more inspired to learn, their future will be brighter and so will the worlds.
The Purpose of Education is:
· To ensure that the world continues to grow and expand.
· To prepare students for future tasks that they may be faced
with.
· To give students knowledge for their future profession in the
world and to make sure they are successful in the profession
that they chose.
The role of a teacher in the classroom is:
· To encourage the students to do their very best in
everything that they try.
· To create a positive learning environment, by creating a warm
classroom atmosphere.
· To be a positive role model.
· To motivate the students when they need it the most.
I believe students learn best by:
· Doing hands-on activities.
· Working in groups, where students can share ideas.
· Observing what a teacher expects them to complete.
The goals for my students are:
· To actively engage in school activities outside of the
classroom.
· Gain basic knowledge from the presented materials.
· Be able to apply the knowledge they receive in class to
everyday life.
